Edgar Ié

Edgar Miguel Ié (born 1 May 1994, Guinea- Bissau ) is a Portuguese football player. The defender plays since 2012 for FC Barcelona B.

Ié changed in 2008 within Portugal Associação Desportiva de Oeiras for Sporting Lisbon's youth department. After four years there, he joined in 2012 FC Barcelona B on. On December 8, 2012 Ié celebrated his professional debut for the reserve team of FC Barcelona. In the 1-1 draw against FC Elche he arrived 10 minutes from time for Alejandro Grimaldo in the game.

Ié recorded inserts for the Portuguese U-19 selection. He played three games in 2012 during qualifying for the U-19 European Championships in Estonia, however, was not one of the selection squad for that tournament, as he had previously broken a metatarsal in his left foot.
