Ediz Hun

Ediz Hun ( born November 20, 1940 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish actor and former politician.

After completion of the St. George's College in Istanbul Ediz Hun studied at the University of Oslo and Trondheim, biology and environmental sciences.

His first film experience he gained in 1963 with the film along with Hülya Genç Kizlar Koçyigit. In the 1960s and 1970s, he was seen in up to 100 feature films. The number of feature films in which he participated actively, has become less since then. In recent years he occupied mainly roles in soap operas.

Since 1985 he has also worked as a lecturer at the Marmara University.

Ediz Hun acted beyond the meantime as a politician. Between 1999 and 2002 he was a member of the Motherland Party ANAP.

He is married and father of two children.
