Edonis

The B Engineering Edonis is an Italian supercar, manufactured since 2001 by B. Engineering. For the technical development of Edonis the body corporate Vercarmodel Saro had been commissioned.

It is based on the Bugatti EB110, but was significantly revised. The only thing that was taken from the original Bugatti, is the carbon fiber casing. The exterior and interior were completely redesigned. The 3.5 liter Bugatti engine was increased from 3500 cc to 3760 cc. The original four small IHI turbochargers were replaced by two more from the same manufacturer.

The power of the engine was 610 hp ( 448 kW) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm to 680 hp (500 kW) and 735 Nm at 8000 rpm increased.

In addition, the all-wheel drive, the triple - differential and the drive train from the Bugatti through a much simpler and easier rear drive has been replaced. This saves 70 kg of initial weight. These features give the 1500 kg heavy Edonis a low weight / power ratio of 2.2 kg / hp. In addition, the power output of the engine is / liter at stately 181 hp.

The brand says that the super sports car can reach a maximum speed of 365 km / h where it accelerates in 3.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km / hr.

B Engineering plans to build only 21 of these vehicle bodies, which were originally intended for the Bugatti of Aerospatiale. It will cost about € 760,000. The production is made to order.
