Eduard Ellman-Eelma

Eduard Ellman Eelma ( born April 7, 1902 in Saint Petersburg, † November 16, 1941 in Kirov) was an Estonian football player in the interwar period. He played 58 times for the Estonian football team, scoring 21 goals. This Estonian scoring record was broken only in 2002 by Indrek Zelinski. Ellman Eelma debuted on July 23, 1921 against Sweden. With the national team, he played at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924. For most of his career he played for JK Tallinna. Until 1935 he remained in the national team of Estonia.

Ellman Eelma was arrested in June 1941 in Tallinn, sentenced to death and died in November of the same year in a prison in Kirov.
