Eduard Khrennikov

Eduard Khrennikov Alexandrovich (Russian Эдуард Александрович Хренников; born May 19, 1973 in Ussolje - Sibirskoye ) is a Russian ski - orienteering.

Khrennikov launched 1998-2009 for all seven world championships, winning 13 gold medals. He celebrated his first success in 1998 Windischgarsten with the Russian squadron consisting of Nikolai Bondar, Khrennikov, Viktor Korchagin and Vladislav Kormtschikow. The Russian team succeeded in 2000 in Krasnoyarsk the title with the formation Andrei Gruzdew, Viktor Korchagin, Vladislav Kormtschikow and Khrennikov defend. In addition, Khrennikov won silver behind the Italian Nicolo Corradini over the short distance his first individual medal at a World Cup. In 2002 he became world champion in Borovets on the middle distance, and again with the season. In 2004, 2005 and 2007 should the Russian squadron remain victorious. Single gold took Khrennikov in these World Championships twice on the long haul, twice on the middle distance and twice in the sprint. At the World Championships 2007 he succeeded in doing a historic triumph: Khrennikov won in all three individual events as well as with the Russian squadron. In 2009, he graduated in Japanese Rusutsu his last World Cup and won again on the long distance silver behind his compatriot Andrei Lamow.

Eduard Khrennikov was in 2000, 2003, 2006 and 2011 overall World Cup winner and multiple European champion.
