Edward Hibbert

Edward Hibbert ( born September 9, 1955, Long Iceland, New York City, New York ) is an American actor and literary agent.

Life

Hibbert was the son of actor Geoffrey Hibbert (1920-1969) on Long Iceland, New York, born and raised in England, where he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Mid-1980s, he went back to the U.S. and appeared on Broadway and major regional theaters. Roles in films and television series followed, as in Cosby, Murder, She Wrote and Law & Order. Known to a large audience Hibbert has been primarily in the role of the vain restaurant critic Gil Chesterton in the comedy series Frasier, which he played from 1993 to 2004.

In addition to his acting work Hibbert is a partner in a literary agency and advises customers on Authors such as Chuck Palahniuk and Christopher Bram.
