Edward Rennie
Edward Henry Rennie ( born August 19, 1852 in Balmain, Sydney, † January 8, 1927 in Adelaide ) was an Australian scientist and president of the Royal Society of South Australia.
He earned in 1876 at the University of Sydney his master, taught for a while, and then went to London to study chemistry. At the local St Mary's Hospital, he was assistant to Charles Romley Alder Wright. After a brief teaching career at the Royal College of Science in South Kensington in 1881, he earned his Doctor of Science degree and returned the following year returned to Australia.
