Edward Toms

Edward James Toms ( born December 11, 1899 in Uxbridge, London Borough of Hillingdon, † January 2, 1971 in Wareham ) was a British sprinter.

In 1924 he was English champion over 440 yards in his personal best time of 50.0 s at the Olympic Games in Paris, he left about 400 m in the quarter-finals after a fall from. In the 4 x 400 - meter relay team, he won the British team bronze.
