Edwardsiella

Edwardsiella is a genus of gram-negative, flagellated peritrich, narrow rod-shaped bacteria. At present ( 2004) are to be considered three Edwardsiella species as certain. There is a great similarity to Escherichia coli. Whether Edwardsiella one of the pathogens is unclear.
