Edwin Lee (footballer)

Edwin " Neddy " Lee ( * in Lymm, † unknown) was an English footballer.

Career

Lee came in May 1898 by the Hurst Ramblers to Newton Heath, who played in the Football League Second Division. In the 1898/99 season, Lee was next to Henry Boyd, Joe Cassidy and William Brooks one of four center forwards of the club and had until March 1899 his debut against Lincoln City FC. wait Both goals in a 2-0 win against Barnsley FC and the 1-0 winning goal four days later against Luton Town secured him for the last game day a place in the team.
