Edwin Seroussi

Edwin Seroussi ( born December 26, 1952 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is an Israeli musicologist of Uruguayan descent.

Born in 1952 in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo in 1971 he moved to Israel. He worked in the years 1992 and 1993 as a visiting professor at Binghamton University. He also served as such from 1998 to 1999 at the University of California at Los Angeles. Seroussi is since 2000 Director of the Jewish Music Research Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
