Egaña is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in western Uruguay in the field of the department of Soriano in the sector 8 It is located north-west of Risso and José Enrique Rodo. West of the village stems from the Arroyo del Corralito while south of Arroyo La Lancha runs whose source is east Egañas located near those of the Arroyo Bequeló.

Infrastructure

Through the village is a railway line.

Population

Egaña had 2004 852 inhabitants in the census in the year.
