Egede (crater)

Egede is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front on the southern edge of the Mare Frigoris, southwest of the large crater northeast of Aristotle and Eudoxus. The Wall is heavily eroded and flooded the interior of lava.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Danish scientist Hans Egede.
