Egor Korotkov

Egor Korotkov Vadimovich (Russian Егор Вадимович Коротков; born April 14, 1986 in Trjochgorny ) is a Russian freestyle skis. He specializes in the discipline of ski cross.

Biography

At the start of his racing career was an alpine ski racer Korotkov, but had little success. His best finish in a FIS race is a third place in December 2008. During the same month, he played his last Alpine race ever. His first participation in an international ski cross race was in March 2006, during the Freestyle World Youth Championship in Krasnoje Ozero, where he finished fifth.

His debut in the World Cup had Korotkow 12 January 2008 in Les Contamines, where he was 15, and thus also equal to won World Cup points. The best result in his debut season was a 11th place a week later in Kreischberg. In the subsequent World Cup season 2008/ 09 he was no more than 23 square out, but first won the Russian championship. In January 2010, Korotkov came in the World Cup for the first time among the top ten in front, at the Olympic Winter Games 2010, he was ranked 25th on January 16, 2011, he managed to place 3 in Les Contamines the first World Cup podium. To kick off the 2010/11 season Korotkov was second twice in San Candido, synonymous with its best ever results in the World Cup.
