Egyptian Lover
Egyptian Lover ( born August 31, 1963; Greg Broussard real name ) is an American hip hop producer, DJ and rapper of Electro-/Hip-Hop, considered one of the most important representatives of this form of West Coast Hip- Hop is considered.
He started his musical career in 1983 in Los Angeles with his debut single, Egypt, Egypt, which was an underground club hit. Other successful songs were And My Beat Goes Boom and What Is a DJ If He Can not Scratch. Less success was Egyptian Lover with his albums. Only the 1984 released album On the Nile celebrated commercial success.
