Ehsan Jami
Ehsan Jami ( born April 20, 1985 in Mashhad ) is a Dutch politician of Iranian origin.
Ehsan Jami had to leave with his parents and his sister in 1996 to Iran for political reasons, has since lived in the Netherlands and is now a citizen of this country.
He was a member of the Social Democratic Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA ), and for this member of the city council of Leidschendam- Voorburg, near The Hague.
With the establishment of the style similar to the German Central Council of Ex -Muslims Centraal Comité voor Ex - Moslems in June 2007, whose stated goal is the support of Ex -Muslims, Ehsan Jami made a name for itself over the Netherlands also. He was then repeatedly subjected to violent Muslims. So he and his companion were beaten on 4 August 2007 in the street by three men. Since then he had to go into hiding and be placed under special state protection. From the hiding place he criticized that even apparently is no longer possible in a democracy like the Netherlands, to express his opinion because 'll answer criticism of Islam by Muslims by force.

On 8 August 2007, the politician Geert Wilders took the case to the occasion, a ban on the Koran to demand. 2007 wrote Geert Wilders and Ehsan Jami together an article in which they compared the Prophet Mohammed with Hitler. This Article Jami was expelled from the Social Democratic Partij van de Arbeid.
Following the publication of anti-Islamic Wilders film " Fitna " on 27 March 2008 on the Internet Jami announced, also release a film critical of Islam, and is seeking to outperform Wilders in his criticism yet. A little later he took his announcement back pressure from the Dutch Minister of Justice and after Iranian threats. In October 2009 it was announced that Jami will engage in populist Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV ) Geert Wilders ' political. In August 2011, he left the party again, however, and announced that he would retire from politics and concentrate on his studies. Since early 2012 he is a member of Onafhankelijke Burger Partij of Hero Brinkman.
