Geography
Eickendorf is located approximately 13 kilometers southeast of Oebisfelde between the natural parks Drömling and Elm Lappwald.
History
From 1994 to January 1, 2005 was Eickendorf to manage Community Oebisfelde, from 2005 to December 31, 2009 to manage Community Oebisfelde - Calvörde.

Coat of arms and flag
The coat of arms was approved on 4 May 2009 by the county.

Based on the place names used Eickendorf a coat of arms, which showed a natural tree, which should be an oak. This coat of arms led the community unofficially and corresponded in several positions not the heraldic rules, so it was not approvable. To avoid a loss of identity, an oak tree was included in the new coat of arms, in turn, is clearly identifiable on the basis of leaves and acorns. Because only an oak tree is not in itself unique and distinctive coat of arms image, two axes were beige represents.
