Eilean Trodday

Trodday ( Scottish Gaelic: Tròndaigh, from the Old Norse, German: " Thronds Cape " ), also called Eilean Trodday, is an uninhabited island in the north of the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. It is located two kilometers north of Cape Rubha na h- Aiseig on the peninsula of Trotternish on Skye. The highest elevation Troddays is 45 meters high.

On the island is a lighthouse, which was built in 1908 by Charles Alexander Stevenson.

On 1 June 2006, the trawler was stranded Brothers BF 138 Trodday. At least one crew member was killed. The competent authority took this disaster as an opportunity to warn of fatigue and lack of security arrangements in the maritime industry.
