Ein Bokek

Ein Bokek (also called one Boqeq, Hebrew: עין בוקק ) is a town in Israel.

Ein Bokek is located about 390 m below sea level. It was built as a tourist center: There are many hotels, restaurants, clinics, bars and shopping centers. The place is about 90 minutes by car from Jerusalem and is one of the most developed vacation resorts on the shore of Dead Sea.

• For rehabilitation or Kurmaßnahmen the DMZ (German Medical Center ) was founded, which is located in the Hotel Lot. The DMZ is mainly specialized in skin diseases.
