A home for animals is a 80 - part television series that aired from 1985 to 1992 in the early evening of the ZDF. The consequences of each lasted 45 minutes. Content

The series is about a veterinary practice on a farm in the fictional town Adelsheim, where Dr. Willi Bayer, played by Siegfried Vishnevsky with his daughter Lisa (Marion Kracht ) and many stray pets and wild animals alive. The vet goes best with a carriage ride through the city, pulled by his pony Blondie. As an assistant to the physician acts Dr. Horst denominator (Michael Lesch ). Later in the budget still attracts a sister of the physician Martha ( Angela Pschigode ), which then takes care of the household.

The first author of this conceived as a family series production was Ted Willis. Later Inge Dorska, Jochen Wedegärtner, Anita Mally, Gerd Oelschlegel and Alexander Rentsch, who also wrote the novels to the series attributed to the consequences.

As directors Kai Borsche, Werner Dauth, Rainer Klingenfuss, Thomas Nikel and Sigi Rothemund were responsible.
