Einsatzgruppe Tigris

The task force Tigris is a special unit of the Swiss Federal Criminal Police. The Task Force has its base in the barracks Worblaufen near Bern.

Tasks

The Task Force is called in when to be expected with an increased risk of violence in individual cases. Further, the task force with security police instructions and basic and advanced training for employees in the Federal Office of Police is in charge. From 2005 to the spring of 2009, 132 operational orders were carried out by the Einsatzgruppen. Of these, 59 cases targeted searches, 47 arrests, 8 and 18 transports protection orders.
