Eirian Williams

Eirian Williams ( born September 3, 1955 in Carmarthen ) is a Welsh snooker referee.

Life

Prior to his career as a referee Williams was eighteen years policeman in Welsh Llanelli. His first license as a snooker referee - then for the amateur range ( Class C) - he got 1981 Ten years later he received the highest license and was first used at the Grand Prix 1991 in the match between Stuart Swinburn and Doug French. .

The first led by him game that was televised, was Jimmy White vs Billy Snaddon 1995. 1998 followed his first final of a ranking tournament at the Welsh Open. In the course of his future career, he was employed in almost all major tournaments, including four finals at the World Snooker Championship.
