Billy Snaddon

Billy Snaddon (* July 7, 1969 ) is a former Scottish snooker player.

Career

Snaddon 1991 Professional and reached at the 1998 Irish Open for the first time the quarter-finals of a ranking tournament, having previously been seven stood in a second round. In the Snooker world rankings he was for season 97/98 for the first time among the top 32, and could be a little later in 24th place - Karrierebestwert - increase.

His biggest success in a ranking tournament he scored in 1999 when Regal China International, where he, after beating James Wattana ( 5:3 ), Ronnie O'Sullivan ( 5-3 ), Stephen Lee ( 5-3 ) and Stephen Hendry in the finale of his compatriot John Higgins defeated with 3:9.

At the final round of the World Snooker Championship, he took part in five times ( 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000 and 2001), without it being possible to retract a single win.

After the season 03/ 04 he scored good results and in the ranking fell out of the top 64 and thus lost his place on the professional tour, he ended his active career as a player.
