Irish Open (Snooker)

The Irish Open was a professional snooker tournament of the main tour.

It had. During his single host in the season 1998/99 the status of a world ranking tournament Venue was Tallaght, a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. The winner was the Welshman Mark Williams, who defeated Alan McManus from Scotland with 9:4.

Instead of this tournament the Malta Grand Prix was awarded the status of a world ranking tournament the following year.
