Champion of Champions (snooker)

The Champion of Champions is a snooker tournament invitation of the Main Tour. It was in 1978, 1980 and 2013 discharged. Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan is the Englishman.

History

The Champion of Champions was launched in 1978 by boxing promoter Mike Barrett. It played four players on just one day, the tournament at the Wembley Conference Centre in London. 1980 already participated ten players. This first played in two groups in round robin mode. Then the winners of the two groups played in the final.

2013 was the tournament held as a knockout tournament with sixteen participants at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
