Classic (Snooker)

The Classic was a professional snooker tournament. It was first held in 1981 and 1984 reached the status of a ranking tournament of Snooker Main Tour. In its history, the tournament changed by change of sponsor several times the official name. After 1992 it was removed from the calendar of the main tour.

1982 Steve Davis scored at the tournament for the first televised maximum break of snooker history. He is also the player with the by far most tournament victories with six titles.
