Thailand Masters
The Thailand Masters was a professional snooker tournament in Thailand. It was from 1989 to 2002 one of the tournaments of the snooker main tour and had the status of a world ranking tournament. In his history of the tournament twice changed the name and worked as Asian Open, later known as the Thailand Open, and finally as Thailand Masters. In the 1990/91 season, it was held in China uniquely.
Even if in the calendar year 1991 was held a tournament, there was in each season between 1989 /90 and 2001/ 02 tournament. This is due to the shift of the tournament from the fall / winter into spring.
