Snooker season 1993/1994

At snooker season 1993/1994 were 15 professional snooker tournaments, which were held between 22 September 1993 and the World Cup final on May 2, 1994.

For the third time in a row the Scot Stephen Hendry won the world title and with two more tournament wins and two second places he defended 1st place in the Snooker world rankings. The later more time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan was his first tournament victory celebration on the Snooker Main Tour and the Thai James Wattana his home tournament - the Thailand Open - winning for the first time.

The one season previously introduced rule ( ie, 0.1 times the value for the Snooker world rankings compared to a normal ranking tournament ) equip tournaments with minor- ranking status was abolished. The Strachan Challenges and the Benson & Hedges Championship, which had been a year earlier recognized as a minor ranking tournament were downgraded to the invitational tournament.
