Snooker season 2003/2004

The snooker season 2003/ 04 was a series of snooker tournaments that belong to the Main Tour. In comparison to the previous season of the Tour calendar has been reduced by two events. In eight of the nine tournaments it was next to the title also for world ranking points, the exception was traditionally only the Masters.

No longer to Main tour included the Benson & Hedges Championship, which have now been discharged as a qualifying tournament and the winner brought in a starting place at the Masters. After 22 years (including a year's break ) the Scottish Masters were not played. The Scottish Open took place this year as the Players Championship for the last time.

The season began on October 4, 2003 with the Grand Prix and ended as usual with the World Cup final on 3 May 2004.
