Anthony Hamilton (snooker player)

Anthony Hamilton ( born June 29, 1971 in Nottingham ) is an English snooker player.

Career

Hamilton began his professional career in 1991.

1995 Hamilton won the Australian Open and the Australian Masters, both non- ranking tournaments. His first finals on the main tour succeeded him in 1999 at the British Open in Plymouth, but he was defeated Fergal O'Brien.

In 2002 he reached after victories over Mark King, Quinten Hann, Ken Doherty and Mark Selby the final of the China Open in Shanghai, which he lost against the then number one, Mark Williams.
