Gary Wilkinson

Gary Wilkinson ( born April 7, 1966) is a professional, English snooker player.

After 1987 he was on the professional snooker main tour, he made it within a few years to the advanced world class. So he had climbed for the 1991/92 season to rank 5 the official Snooker world rankings, but without winning a ranking tournament. His best results were runners-up at the British Open in 1991 and the Scottish Masters 1992.

Even for the 1993/94 season, he was, however, dropped out again from the Top16 with 17th place. In contrast, the Top 32 he spent a few more years, however, without being once again advanced to semifinals in a (up to the 1999/2000 season ).

His best results in Snooker World Championship, for which he has qualified a total of ten times, he reached in 1991 and 1995 - each with reaching the quarter-finals.

After his playing days on the main tour, he played for some time on the DIOS - series and works for the World Snooker Association as assistant tournament.
