Eisenbach (Emsbach)

The Eisenbach is a low mountain in the Taunus. It rises in the eastern Hintertaunus in a higher Talzug above Haintchen and empties into the Emsbach which passes through the Golden reason.

Course

The source is located between Haintchen and Hasselbach. It flows through Haintchen in which the Eisenbach is piped into the local situation and runs above ground again below the village. Looking down the valley opens out the Hainbach. The iron stream runs past the idyllic tourist restaurant " Hubertushof ". At the level of Hof Hausen farming estate of houses brook flows. He continues through the homonymous village, Eisenbach and flows between Upper and Lower seltzer, at the level of exit of Eisenbach on the main road 8, in the Emsbach, which comes from the Hoch-Taunus.

Geography

The area of the source region is designed as a water reserve. All around pastures are located behind the dense forest belt connects to the mountain ranges.

Above the source to the main road out is the Kirchküppel, small wood; to the Thirty Years' War, the village Oberhain outgoing, has found there. Whether there was a church, is not to prove accurate. It was probably a small hamlet with individual houses, situated on the road L 3337.
