Yekaterina Wadimowna Ulanova (Russian Екатерина Вадимовна Уланова, English transcription: Yekaterina Vadimovna Ulanova; * August 5, 1986 in Ivanovo as Yekaterina Wadimowna Kabeschowa ) is a Russian volleyball player.

Career

Ulanova began her career in a sports school of their hometown. In 2001 she went to Olympia Shuja. With the Russian juniors, she participated in several tournaments and in 2004 was EM- third. In the same year she moved to the UK Dynamo Moscow. There she was in the first season of Russian runners-up. The Liberation debuted in the senior national team, with which she finished in third place at the European Championship. 2006 Dynamo won the title in the league and in the finals of the Top Teams Cup. She then moved to local rivals VK CSKA Moscow, who in 2007 was runner-up and also reached the final of the Top Teams Cup. With the national Ulanova repeated the third place at the European Championship. Then she went to Leningradka Saint Petersburg. With the club, she was third in the 2009 Challenge Cup. The national team came in the same year in the final of the Grand Prix. In the 2009/10 season Ulanova played on VK Dynamo Krasnodar to win the Russian Cup. In Japan it was 2010 with Russia by a final victory against Brazil World Champion. Since 2010 she plays for Dynamo Kazan VK. The club was in 2011 and 2012 Russian master. In London Ulanova took part in the Olympic Games in 2012 and came to the quarter -final with Russia in the fifth.
