Ekrima Sa'id Sabri

Is a former Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Sheikh Sa'id Sabri Ikrimah (* 1939 in Qalqiliya Arab عكرمة سعيد عبد الله صبري, DMG ʿ Ikrimah Sa ʿ ʿ Abd Allāh īd Sabri ).

Life

Sabri's father was a judge in Nablus. There he completed his education and then studied until 1963 in Baghdad Islamic law and Arabic language. He finished his studies with a Bachelor. The degree of Master he obtained in 1989 at the University of Nablus. Sabri doctorate at the Al -Azhar University in 2001. Sabri is married and has five children.

Sabri, in 1992 a Council of Ulama and preachers in Palestine and was also Chairman of the High Fatwa Council in Palestine and preacher in the Al -Aqsa Mosque.

On 20 February 2005, he appeared on the Saudi- Arab satellite television channel Al- Majd to comment on the attack on the convoy of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanese prime minister. Sabri said that everyone who deal with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and especially the Talmud, 'll notice that it is one of the goals of the protocols to create uncertainty and undermine global security.

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter A Common Word between Us and You (English A Common Word Between Us and You), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (English " Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... " ) submitted (13 October 2007).
