El Mostafa Nechchadi

El Mostafa Nechchadi (* November 15, 1962 ) is a retired Moroccan long-distance runner, who specializes in road races.

In 1987 he was second in the London Marathon, but fell short of the marathon of the athletics world championships in Rome the goal. In 1988, he won the race Roma - Ostia, but had to retire in the marathon of the Olympic Games in Seoul again.

In 1989 he won the Great North Run and the Philadelphia Half Marathon.

He later became a successful coach who manages inter alia on Catherine Ndereba.
