El Tesoro is a village in Uruguay.
Geography
It is located in the area of Maldonado Department in its sector 6 El Tesoro is bordered to the north to La Barra and is located on the left-hand bank of the Arroyo Maldonado, the downstream flows far into the Atlantic.
Population
El Tesoro had 2011 1.396 inhabitants, including 695 male and 701 female in the census.
