Electro Hippies

Electro Hippies was a Crust-Punk-/Thrashcore-Band from St. Helens / Wigan (England).

History

The band formed in 1985. Though it did not exist very long, their music influenced many later Crust, hardcore and grindcore bands. She was known primarily for vocalist Jeff Walker, who joined the band Carcass in early 1987. 1989 was recorded with Napalm Death for the Grindcrusher sampler the shortest single ever with about three seconds of playing time, was it entered the Guinness Book of Records; the A-side containing the Napalm Death You Suffer title, which is also out with a playing time of 1.316 seconds as the shortest ever recorded piece of music in the Guinness Book.
