Elektro

Electric is the name of 1937-1938, constructed by the Westinghouse Company humanoid robot. It was exhibited at the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Electric has an outer metal shell is about 2,20 m tall and remotely controlled by a human. He can move his fingers to count, smoking a cigar and has a limited vocabulary of 700 words. With the latter, it is able to simulate a conversation.

Electric is on display in the Mansfield Memorial Museum in Mansfield, Ohio.
