Eleonore of Löwenstein-Wertheim

Eleonore Maria Anna, Countess zu Löwenstein -Wertheim -Rochefort (* 1686, † February 22, 1753 in Rotenburg an der Fulda ) was married to Landgrave Ernst Leopold II of Hesse -Rotenburg.

Life

Eleonore Maria Anna was a daughter of Maximilian Carl Albrecht, Prince of Löwenstein -Wertheim -Rochefort (1656-1718), and his wife Polyxena Maria, Countess Khuen of Lichtenberg and Belasi ( 1658-1712 ).

Maria Anna of Löwenstein -Wertheim married in 1704 in Frankfurt am Main, the Landgrave of Hesse- Rotenburg Leopold ( 1684-1749 ). As Countess Eleonore had great influence at court, it exerted on the side of the Landgrave and daughter of the prince and the Imperial Privy Council and treasurer in Vienna.

From their marriage they had four sons and six daughters:
