ELF Cup

The ELF Cup (short for Egalite, Liberté, Fraternité ) is a from North Cyprus Football Association ( KTFF ) organized football championship. At her involves teams that are not organized in the FIFA and therefore can not participate in the FIFA World Cup.

Formation

The NF - Board, where most teams are organized wanted his Viva World Cup stop in Northern Cyprus in 2006, originally. Due to political pressure and inconsistencies with the KTFF the competition, however, was moved to the southern French Occitania.

The KTFF started as reactions his own " outsider 's World Cup " in Northern Cyprus. Some of the teams that were traded as a participant of the Viva World Cup in Northern Cyprus, then declared their participation in the ELF Cup in 2006, while other teams in the NF- Board went to the simultaneous Viva World Cup 2006 after Occitania.
