Eli Marom

Eljezer Marom (* 1955 in Sde Eliezer, Israel) is a Vice Admiral ( Aluf ) of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF ) and was from 2007 to 2011 commander of the Israeli Navy ( ISC).

Biography

Marom was born the son of a Chinese living in Germany and a Russian immigrant.

After school he joined the Navy and completed his training as a naval officer in 1975 with the graduation from. Then he found his first seafaring use as an engineer officer.
