Elias Kachunga (2010)

Elias Kachunga ( born April 22, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German footballer of Congolese origin. Since January 2013 he played on loan for the SC Paderborn 07

Career

He already started with three years at Eintracht Cologne and then transferred to Fortuna Köln. He played four years at SSVg Haan. He transferred after one year at VfB Hilden in the youth department of Borussia Mönchengladbach. He played five years in the youth team of the foals, towards the end of the 2009/10 season he was also the first time for playing in the Regionalliga West second team to use. For the 2010/11 season Kachunga moved up in Mönchengladbach Bundesliga squad. His first Bundesliga Match of the striker on October 18, 2010, when he came off the bench in the 2:3 defeat against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for Raúl Bobadilla in the 80th minute. His contract at Borussia runs until 30 June 2015.

In January 2012, Borussia Mönchengladbach Kachunga awarded after a two-week trial until end of season to VfL Osnabrück. For VfL Kachunga debuted on February 7, 2012 ( 24th Round ) in the 2:3 home defeat against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt. In this game, he scored in the 34th minute the interim goal for 2-0.

For the 2012/13 season Kachunga was loaned again, this time to the Bundesliga relegated Hertha BSC. For the Berlin he made his debut on Matchday 2 in the 1-3 defeat against FSV Frankfurt. On January 3, in 2013 the loan agreement, however, was dissolved. He was subsequently awarded until the end of season 2013/14 to the SC Paderborn 07.
