Elisa Longo Borghini

Elisa Longo Borghini (born 10 December 1991 in Ornavasso ) is an Italian racing driver.

Elisa Longo Borghini 2006 Third of the Italian road championship youth. In 2011 she became a professional. In the same year she won at the European Road Championships in the U23 sixth place in the road race and eighth in the time trial. In 2012 she was the Seventh Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, five of the Tour de Free State and ninth overall in the Giro d' Italia Femminile. At the International Thüringen Tour she won the fifth stage and finished second in the overall standings in fifth place. In the Italian road championship, she was vice - champion and at the European Championships ( U23 ) Third, in each individual time trial.

The UCI Road World Championships 2012 in Valkenburg aan de Geul Elisa Longo Borghini was third in the road race of women. 2013 she won the Trofeo Alfredo Binda race for the Comune di - Cittiglio.

She is a younger sister of Paolo Longo Borghini cyclist.
