Elisabeth Persson

Maria Elisabeth Persson ( born February 21, 1964 in Umeå ) is a Swedish curler.

Persson played as the lead in 1992, 1993, 1995-1997, 2000 and 2006 in seven European Curling Championships. They won in 1992, 1993, 1997 and 2000, the gold medal, a silver medal in 1996 and 1995 the bronze medal.

In the curling world championship Persson played from 1992 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2000 as a lead for the Swedish team. The gold medal she won in the years 1992, 1995, 1998 and 1999 and the bronze medal in 1993 and 1994.

In 1998, Persson at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano part. The team won the bronze medal by a score of 10:6 against Great Britain in the match for third place also as the lead Persson took part in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Here the team finished sixth.
