Elisha Obed

Elisha Obed ( born February 21, 1952 in Nassau, Bahamas) is a former boxer from the Bahamas. He was world champion professional boxer in the Light Middleweight.

Career

Elisha Obed whose real name was Everett Osvald Ferguson, came up with 12 years in Nassau / Bahamas to boxing. As a teenager, he played in the Bahamas 46 amateur fights, of which he won. The age of 15, he played on September 15, 1967 in Nassau his first professional fight, he won over his compatriot Taylor Ventura by KO in the 1st round.
