Elizabeth McBride

Elizabeth McBride ( born May 17, 1955 in Shreveport, † June 16, 1997 in Santa Fe) was an American costume designer. For the interior of the film Miss Daisy McBride 1990 was nominated for an Oscar.

Life

McBride received her first film commitment in 1983 by Bruce Beresford, for his film comeback of love. Seven years later, she took over the facilities of the tragicomedy Miss Daisy, for which it was in 1990 for an Academy Award in the category " Best Costume Design" nomination. McBride died in 1997 at the age of 42 years in Santa Fe at a cancer.
