Ellen Sprunger

Ellen Sprunger (* August 5, 1986 ) is a Swiss heptathlete. With 6124 points, it holds the second-best performance of a Swiss woman of all time, and she's also in the sprint to the Swiss elite.

The end of 2008 she was accepted into the project funded World Class potential of the Swiss Athletics Association. Her younger sister Léa Sprunger is also athlete, both start for COVA Nyon. Training is Ellen Sprunger since 2010 by the Swiss -around trainer Adrian Roth Buhler. Sprunger was elected to the Swiss track and field athlete of the year 2012

  • 2008: Swiss Champion Heptathlon and 200 -meter run; Swiss Indoor champion 200 -meter run
  • 2009: 4th place Universiade heptathlon; Swiss Indoor champion 60 - meter dash and 200 -meter run
  • 2010: Swiss Indoor Champion Pentathlon, 60 - meter dash and 200 -meter run
  • 2011: Swiss Champion Heptathlon; 14th place all-around meeting Götzis
  • 2012: Swiss Indoor Champion Pentathlon; 19 Rank Olympic Games
  • 2013: Swiss Indoor Champion Pentathlon
