Mary Eleanor Simmonds (born 11 November 1994 Walsall, United Kingdom ) is an English, paralympic swimmer who has been awarded several gold medals at the Paralympics and other successes in international championships. She came into the world with achondroplasia, a genetic form of dwarfism.

Internationally known Simmonds was through their participation at the Summer Paralympics in Beijing in 2008, where she became the youngest participant of her team won two gold medals at age 13. Life

Mary Eleanor Simmonds was born in Walsall in England and grew up in Aldridge, where she attended Primary School Aldridge. Later she moved to the Olchfa School in Swansea.
