Elliot Minor
Elliot Minor is a five-piece British rock band from North York, England.
Band History
Alex Davies and Ed Minton attended the same school in Uppingham, where they jointly visited the classical music lessons and sang in the school choir. They became friends and made music together and eventually formed the band along with Dan Hetherton The Academy. They made their own recordings and completed the occupation of a keyboard player and a bass player, to Ali Paul and Dan's brother Teddy.
In early 2006, they found with Repossession Records, a label and made their first recordings. In addition, they named themselves into Elliot Minor.
The band got off to a very successful career, her first two singles Parallel Worlds and Jessica were each # 1 on the indie charts and in the top 40 of the official UK charts. Two other successful singles followed, before in April 2008 they released their debut album with the band name as the title. It reached number 6 in the UK. Since 2008, Elliot Minor attempt on the European continent to gain a foothold and have, inter alia in Germany some performances completed along with Simple Plan.
