Élodie Ouédraogo

Elodie Ouedraogo ( born February 27, 1981 in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode/Sint-Joost-ten-Node ) is a Belgian sprinter Burkinabe origin. She is a Belgian citizen since 2000.

Career

At the Track World Junior Championships 2000, she participated for Burkina Faso at the 100 - meter hurdles with 13.87 seconds and set a then state record, which until 2007 had stock.

With the Belgian 4 x 100 meters relay she finished in the finals of the Olympic Games 2004 in a national record time of 43.08 seconds in sixth place.

In the 2005 Universiade in Izmir, she won the bronze medal over 200 m in 23.62 seconds their first medal in an individual event at a major international competition.

In 2007 she won at the World Championships in Osaka with the 4 x 100 - meter relay in the cast Olivia Borlée, Hanna Marien, Ouedraogo and Kim Gevaert in the Belgian national record time of 42.75 seconds the bronze medal.

In the same cast, she won the silver medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with the Belgian 4 x 100 - meter relay with a new national record in 42.54 seconds.
